Evidently the Egyptians possessed "hornless" cattle, as witness this cow , her calf being tied to her leg while she is being milked. The "hornless" bovine head images appearing amongst the offerings to the dead on Egyptian stelae found in the Sinai at Serabit el Khadim may be showing "hornless" heifers instead of "hornless" calves ?
