Many Christians are apparently unaware of the teachings of the Quran (Koran) regarding hostility toward and subjugation of non-Moslems. Many of the U.S. TV News Anchors or Commentators as well as the Government of the U.S.A. and various Heads of European Countries and the European Economic Union appear to be "Moslem Apologists," misleading the public about the teachings of Islam as preserved in the Quran which is regarded as a type of Holy Book for many Moslems.
Below are excerpts from an English translation of the Quran which for various reasons are _not presented_ to the Christian public at large be it European or American by the TV News Commentators and various Heads of State and Government Agencies.
The English translation, page numbers (as well as Sura verse numbers) being used below is from N. J. Dawood. The Koran. London. Penguin Books. 1956, reprinted 1990.
Isam is the one true religion, all others are false religions:
"The only true faith in God's sight is Islam." (p. 44. 3:19)
The Quran warns its adherents _not_ to make friends with infidels (non-Moslems) for this is upsetting to Allah or God:
"Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful- he that does this has nothing to hope for from God..."

The Quran warns its adherents of the deceitfulness of the infidels who pretend to be friends but are enemies seeking to corrupt Moslems:
"Believers, do not make friends with any but your own people. They will spare no pains to corrupt you. They desire nothing but your ruin. Their hatred is evident from what they utter with their mouths, but greater is the hatred which their breasts conceal."

The Quran teaches that if the faithful die as marytrs their sins will be forgiven and admission to Heaven is promised:
"If you have suffered defeat, so did the enemy. We alternate these vicissitudes among mankind so that God may know the true believers and choose marytyrs from among them (He does not love the evil-doers); and that God may test the faithful and annihilate the infidels." (p. 54. 3:140)
The Quran boasts of its adherents terrorizing the infidels or non-believers with Allah's help:
"Believers, if you yield to the infidels they will drag you back to unbelief and you will return headlong to perdition. But God is your protector. He is the best of helpers. We will put terror into the hearts of the unbelievers." (p. 55. 3:148)
The Quran teaches that martyrs who die fighting the infidels will be rewarded with Heaven:
"Those that fled their homes or were expelled from them, and those that suffered persecution for My sake and fought and were slain: I shall forgive them their sins and admit them to gardens watered by running streams, as a reward from God..."

The Quran denies that Jesus is the Son of God and it denies the Holy Trinity preached by Christianity:
"People of the Book, do not trangress the bounds of your religion. Speak nothing but the truth about God. The Messiah, Jesus the son of Mary, was no more than God's apostle and His Word which He cast to Mary: a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His apostles and do not say: 'Three.' Forbear, and it shall be better for you. God is but one God. God forbid that He should have a son!" (p. 78. 4:171)
Why are the U.S. TV News Commentators and Heads of State in the West _unwilling_ to present to their viewers the above teachings from the Quran (Koran)?
The TV News Commentators bombard the American and European public daily with propaganda that Islam is a "peaceful" religion and that the acts of terrorism witnessed daily on the TV New shows is but an "aberration" of a _tiny minority_ of misguided souls. As can be seen from the above excerpts from the Quran the terrorists are _not_ misguided, they are adhering to the Quran's teachings:
The infidels are Islam's enemy. They must be conquered and destroyed. They are not Islam's friends they seek to corrupt Islamic teachings.
The Quran teaches that Moselms must "put terror into the hearts of the infidels" and its does so under Osama Bin Laden and others. Yes they are terrorists, but they are _obeying_ the terrorist teachings of the Quran! Those Moselms not involved in promoting terrorism to advance Islam are the _real_"apostates."
So, why are millions of Moslems fleeing Islamic countries to live in the infidel's hell-hole of the Americas and Europe? There are several possible answers:
Life is _not_ a paradise living under Islamic Shari'a Law and the Mullahs and Imams. The freedoms enjoyed in The West (America and Europe) are denied in some Islamic countries. So they flee to the West to enjoy religious freedom (no Sunni will hunt you down and kill you for being a Shi'ite).
Along with the refugees of "peaceful" Islam who have settled in the West are avowed enemies of Chistianity. They see their mission in life as overthrowing the Christian religion and government of their hosts and making them _via acts of terror as approved in the Quran_ into an Islamic state. Their goal: All the world will be Islamic, all knees will bend to Allah via terrorism (bombings of buildings, train stations, market places).
Why is it that the U.S. News Anchors or Commenatators _make no mention_ of any of the above Quranic teachings for their Christian audiences in America and Europe?
The Answer? As the Police Detectives say on the TV murder mystery shows: "Follow the money to see who done it and why."
The Christian West _needs_ oil and the principal oil reserves are under Islamic control. So the government's policy (The West: America and Europe) as well as big business is: "Do not say or do anything to offend the Moslems or they will cut-off the oil creating an economic crisis of grave proportions in the West."
This also explains to some degree why the West has admitted millions of Muslims allowing them to settle and build mosques in Christian lands. "We don't want to offend them them by not admitting them, they might turn off the oil taps."
Where does the Quran get its notions that God (Allah) is pleased with the employment of terrorism to advance his religion? The answer will surprise you! It comes right from the Hebrew Bible (The Old Testament for Christians). Israel is told to slaughter the Canaanites and take their land for a possession. They are not to intermarry with the infidels, they are not to be friends of the infidels, they are to kill anyone who attempts to proselytize and convert an Israelite to another religion (Islam in agreement with the Hebrew Bible teaches that anyone attempting to convert a Moslem is to be killed and Moslems who convert to another faith are to be executed as taught by the Hebrew Bible). We are informed by the Hebrew prophets that one day all the world will bend the knee to one God. This God, Jesus the Messiah for Christians (cf. John 1:1-15), will _employ terror_ to accomplish his goals, he will subjugate all of the earth by fire and sword destroying those who refuse to bow down and acknowledge him as "Lord" in the battle of Armageddon in the Book of Revelation (16:16).
Proselyters or "Missionaires" (those who encourage the abandonment of a religion) are to be killed:
Deuteronomy 13:6-11 RSV
"If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own soul, entices you secretly, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which neither you nor your fathers have known, some of the gods of the peoples that are round about you, whether near you or far off from you, from the one end of the earth to the other, you shall not yield to him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pity him, nor shall you spare him, nor shall you conceal him; but you shall kill him; and your hand shall be the first to put him to death...because he sought to draw you away from the Lord your God..."
Islam teaches that proselyters are to killed in accordance with the above verses. Remember that for Christians, these words are coming from Jesus in his role as the Word or Logos (John 1:1-16), who created Adam and Eve and who gave Moses the Laws Statutes and Ordinances for Israel to adhere to at Mount Sinai. So, whether the above words are from either Yahweh (if you are a Jew), Christ (if you are a Christian) or Allah (if you are a Moslem), all are agreed, proselyters must be killed.
Proseltyes ("Converts"), those who have accepted another religion, due usually to Missionary activity, are to killed and their dwellings destroyed:
Deuteronomy 13:12--16 RSV
"If you hear in one of your cities, which the Lord your God gives you to dwell there, that certain base fellows have gone out among you and have drawn away the inhabitants of the city, saying, 'Let us go and serve other gods,' which you have not known...you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, destroying it utterly, all who are in it...it shall be a heap for ever, it shall not be built again."
Islam teaches that proselytes ("Converts") are to killed and this death sentence is in agreement with the above verses from the Bible. Remember that for Christians, these words are coming from Jesus in his role as the Word or Logos, who created Adam and Eve and who gave Moses the Laws, Statutes and Ordinances for Israel at Mount Sinai. So, whether the above words are from Yahweh (if you are a Jew), Christ as the Logos or Word (if you are a Christian) or Allah (if you are a Moslem), all are agreed, God declares that proselytes must be killed. That is to say the Holy Bible and the Quran agree, there is to be _no_ religious freedom for mankind. If you choose to embrace another faith you must be killed as a public example to "please" a jealous, wrathful and intolerant God.
Moslems also understand that the "Holy Bible" of the Jews and Christians has been "corrupted" and not everything it says is true, some of the Bible's statements are bald-faced lies!
One such example of a bald-faced lie in the Bible is the statement that Abraham offered Isaac as a living sacrifice to God as proof of his loyalty. Islam claims that Abraham offered Ishmael as the living sacrifice, _not_ Isaac. Therefore, the descendants of Isaac (today's Jews) have _no legitimate claim_ to Palestine and the creation of the modern state of Israel is an affront to Islam and a "theft" of Ishmael's inheritance intended by Allah to be for Ishmael's descendants.
Why is it, dear reader, that the TV news commentators do _not_ tell their American European audiences this information? Why are they deliberately "suppressing" this information? Once again, "follow the money." America and Europe need Islamic oil and they do not want to "offend" Islam with this information which would probably turn the American and European people against Islam. So the heads of American and European states keep up the propaganda that Islam is a peaceful religion and of no threat to Christianity or the Democratic way of life.
Today (2007) the U.S.A. is estimated to have over 2000 Islamic Mosques. Millions of Moslems have been allowed to emigrate since 1965, America throwing open its doors, allowing them to have Mosques (8 million Moslems now reside within the USA, whereas 55 million now reside in Europe according to estimates).
Why hasn't Saudi Arabia _reciprocated_ to the American "act of generosity" and allowed millions of Christians to pour into their country and build churches to worship in? How about 2000 Christian Churches as an "act of reciprocity and show of mutual good will" in exchange for the 2000 Mosques in the USA?
There are _no_ Christian churches (Church buildings) in Saudi Arabia. It is forbidden!
Why?
It is against the law for any building to be erected of a religious nature unless it is a Mosque. This policy appears to be in agreement with Deuteronomy 13:12-16. God (be he called Yahweh, Jesus or Allah) is an _intolerant_ God, he wants no-one to lead the faithful away from their beliefs! By keeping Christian churches out of Saudi Arabia the faithful are thereby protected from the "ever-eager" Christian missionaries (Proselyters) who want to whole world to bend the knee to Christ.
It is also forbidden in Saudi Arabia for Christians to hold outdoors in public places any religious parades or public observances that would arouse public attention as this would be "an insult" to Holy Islam. Again this is in agreement with Deuteronomy's teachings of a jealous intolerant God.
Just think since 1965 the USA and the West (Europe) has opened its doors to mass Moslem emigration and the Saudi Government has been generous in providing funds to build Mosques in the West (and all over the world to spread the faith), but _not one_ Christian Church is allowed to be erected in Saudi Arabia nor can Christians "openly" or publicly observe their religious holidays with processions and parade.
Who is more conscientous in obeying God and His commands as portrayed in Deuteronomy 13, Judaism, Christianity or Islam? Islam wins! No Christian today worries about being killed for giving up his religion, but Moslems today still live in constant fear-of-their-lives if they become Christians, knowing they could be assassinated by the faithful as apostates. No Christian today lives in fear of being assassinated for mocking Yahweh or Jesus, but they do fear to mock Allah and his prophet Mohammed because Islam will not tolerate this behavior.
You will _not_ see the "information" on this page on your nightly TV newscast be it in America or Europe!
You also will _not_ see a presentation via the Media (Newspapers, TV, Radio, Government Releases) of the anti-Christian attitude (no Christian Churches in Saudi Arabia) being mentioned by Heads of State in Christian West ("We musn't offend our Saudi friends who control the oil taps").
So you see, dear reader, the _reason_ why Islam _is a terrorist religion_ is because Judaism and Christianity which were its precursors, are themselves _terrorist religions_ too! They _all_ worship the same jealous, intolerant, terrorist God as revealed in Deuteronomy 13.
Islam's intolerance of infidels (non-Moslems), then, is derived from God's intolerance of other religions as revealed in the Old and New Testaments.
Once upon a time long ago (the European Reformation and Counter Reformation of the 1500's-1600's) Christianity too was just as intolerant as Islam is today. Catholics and Protestants butchered each other in wars over doctrinal disputes, just as Sunnis butcher Shi'ites. They destroyed too each other's cities and dwellings leaving them deserted ruin heaps. Today the only Christian vestige of war and hatred appears to be Catholic vs. Protestant in Ireland.
Anybody mocking the Hebrew God in Moses' days or Christianity's Jesus in the European Middle Ages would have been publicly executed in accordance with Deuteronomy 13. Today only Islam demands death for those who mock Allah or his prophet Mohammed or Islam's teachings, be they Moslems or infidel Christians.
I doubt the day will ever arrive that the U.S. and European TV News Commentators will announce to their Christian audiences that Christianity and Judaism are terrorist religions and that Yahweh and Jesus are Terrorist Gods, and that this is _the real reason_ for the present world problems (wars with Islamic Jihadists all over the world).
The "news" you receive dear reader _is _always_ censored_ for various reasons: religious, political and economic.
The "real" news is that which is _not_ presented (being deliberately suppressed) to the viewing audience!
Why the "silence" the "ignoring" and "blind-eyeing" of the "real news"? The answer? FEAR. Fear of offending the viewing audience and losing revenues when other TV channels are switched to. Like the Police Detectives on the TV murder mysteries always say: "Follow the money for determing the reason for the crime and its motives."
Christianity spread itself across the globe over some 500 years via terror (1492 and Columbus to the 19th Century and European Colonialism). Foreign peoples were conquered, their gods were declared false gods and they were forcibly converted to Christianity. Terror has worked well in spreading Christianity over the globe and it has worked work well for Islam too (Islam having by military conquest spread its religious beliefs from Spain to Africa, India and Asia, just as Christianity spread itself via military conquest and terror all over Europe, then the Americas).

Secular Scholars have determined that Israel borrowed from the Mesopotamian (Sumerian Civilization) a number of concepts and recast them.
The Bible is not God's word as revealed by the findings of Science (the Bible claiming the universe was made 6000 years ago and Science determining the Universe is over 12 billion years old).
There never was a Garden of Eden, there never was an Adam and Eve. There was no serpent. There was no fall of man. These motifs have been identified by Secular Scholars as recast motifs from Mesopotamian myths.
Adam is a recast of two mythological characters Adapa of the Adapa and the Southwind myth and Enkidu of the Epic of Gilgamesh. Eve is a recast of Shamhat the Harlot who persuaded a naked Enkidu in a location called in Sumerian the edin, to abandon his wild animal companions, don clothes and leave edin with her to dwell in Uruk and meet Gilgamesh.
How sad that millions or billions of Moslems, Christians and Jews are unaware of all this and that the hatred and malice they bear toward each other is because of recast Hebrew versions of earlier Mesopotamian myths which have been traced back in time to the Sumerians of the 5th-3rd millennia B.C. by Secular Scholars.
Who changed the Mesopotamian myths into a story about "one" _intolerant_ vengeful God who approves of terrorism to advance his religion? Most likely it was Abraham circa 2100-2000 B.C. He originally lived at Ur of the Chaldees in ancient Sumer and was a practicing polythesist until God called him at the age of 75 years in Haran (in Mesopotamia) to renounce Polythesim and adopt Monotheism. I understand that Abraham believing his thoughts and musings were from God, transformed the Mesopotamian myths via a series of inversions and reversals, recasting them in order to repudiate, challenge and deny them.
Where did Abraham get the notion that God was an intolerant vengeful terrorist God? It is a Mesopotamian notion: Gods who are not feared are portrayed as being despised and unobeyed by mankind. Only terror gets respect and obedience. Will the slaughter ever end between Jew, Christian and Moslem?
Only when all of them come to realize that their religious beliefs are founded upon recast Mesopotamian myths will this happen.
What are the chances of this happenning?
Sadly, very slim.
The "Apologists" or "Defenders" of all three faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam still continue to vehemently deny that their religions are recasts of Mesopotamian (Sumerian) myths.
The News Commentators FEARING the "Christian-believing public" that they serve _will not offend_ this public by getting the message out that all three faiths are recasts of fictious Mesopotamian myths and concepts thereby enabling and perpetuating these religions and their continued fear, hatred, mistrust and murderous slaughter of each other _for the glory of God and Country_ into the foreseeable future.

I might add that the teachings of the Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testaments reveal that Terrorism is inseparable from Judaism and Christianity.
Today Judaism and Christianity exist only _"in adulterated, watered-down and significantly modified_ forms." The adherents of these two faiths have by their actions, deeds, and behavior, in effect,_repudiated, renounced, and denied_ many of the teachings of Yahweh (Jesus being Yahweh in his role as the Logos or Word in the Old Testament).
Laws have been passed in Western Societies (Europe and the Americas) that have effectively "pulled the teeth" out of some of the Bible's teachings about "_how_to_enforce_biblical-teachings_with Yahweh's (Jesus') blessings_," that is to say the biblical teachings from the Holy Spirit on "_how to go about putting THE FEAR OF GOD in mankind_," have been replaced by more humane laws.
For example _none_ of the following laws are enforced today:
An important reminder as you_dear reader_ as you read the below laws and ordinances:
If you are a Christian, the below laws and ordinances were given by _Your Lord and Savior_Jesus Christ_ in his role as the Logos or "Word" in the Old Testament via his Holy Spirit to Moses (cf. John 1:1-18 which explains Jesus is the God who created Adam and Eve and the World).
If you are a Jew, these laws were given by _Your God_ Yahweh-Elohim to Moses for you to adhere to.
(1) Proselyters ("Missionaries") are not executed for encouraging people to give up their religion and adopting another faith.
(contra De 13:12-18)
Christian priests, nuns, and missionaries to this very day are being murdered in various Moslem countries by Islamic
Fundamentalists.
(2) Proselytes (people who renounce their religion for another faith) of Judaism or Christianity are no longer executed.
(contra Ex 22:20; Ex 32:26-28 where 3,000 are slain for worshipping the golden calf; De 13:12-18)
Moslems who convert to Christianity _to this day live in fear_ of being murdered by Islamic Fundamentalists.
(3) Murderers are not executed in the European Union and some states in the USA instead they are given "life-sentences" in prisons.

Murderers are still executed in many Moselm countries.
Murderers are still executed in some states of the USA, as for example Texas and North Carolina.
(4) Young unmarried women who engage in sex are no longer executed as "Honor Killings" to avenge the "Family's Honor."

Moslems all over the world still today engage in honor killings of their children, including the USA and Europe where it is banned by Western Law. In the 1950's a Saudi Princess was publicly beheaded for dating a commoner.
(5) People engaged in incest are not executed.
(contra Lev 20:11)
(5) Children who rebel against their parents' wishes are no longer executed to avenge the "Family's Honor."
(contra De 21:18-21)
Moslems within the USA and Europe have killed their children over "honor" issues: violations of Shar'ia Law and Custom;
for these Fundamentalists Shar'ia and Custom _trumps_ the law and customs of their host country. Some patiently wait for the day when their host countries will be overthrown via Moslem terror and made into Islamic States.
(6) Bastards instead of being denied entry into the Holy Congregation (Synagogues or Churches) are allowed in.

(7) Homosexuals are not executed and are protected under the Law from harrassment in the West.

Some Moslems living in the West have beaten up Christian homosexuals and called them names.
Some Christians have beaten up homosexuals and called them names and even murdered them.
(8) Witches or Sorcerers are not executed.
(contra Ex 22:18)
(9) The taking of interest for loans is now allowed between Christian and Christian and between Jew and Jew.
(contra De 23:19)
(10) In war the enemies' married women and male children are no longer executed as demanded by Jesus/Yahweh when his Holy People go to war with their enemies.

(11) Adulterers are not executed.
(contra Lev 20:10)
In some Moslem countries adultery as well as extra-martial sex is punishable by death.
(12) Those who marry "foreign" spouses (possessing different religious beliefs) are not "forced" to divorce or "put away" their spouses _and the children_ of these "mixed" marriages.
(contra Ezra 10:3, 11, 44)
(13) We hear no more sermons about Yahweh/Jesus _causing_the_natural aborting, "casting-off" or _miscarriage_of_fetuses_ as a form of punishment for his people.
(contra Ex 23:25-26) "...I will take sickness from the midst of you. None shall cast her young or be barren in your land."
(14) Slavery is no longer sanctioned as permissable in the West (the Americas and Europe).
(contra Ex 21:1-7; Lev 25:45)
Slavery exists "unofficially" in the Sudan, native peoples being forced to become Moslems. Some Christian charities "buy"
these slaves to set them free from their Moslem captors and return them to their villages.
(15) Genocide (Ethnic Cleansing) is no longer acceptable despite Jesus/Yahweh/The Holy Spirit demanding it of their people when he gave Canaan to them.
(contra Ex 23:28-33; Ex 34:11-16; De 7:16 "you shall _destroy _all_ the peoples...your eye shall not pity them..."

Ethnic cleansing appears to be going on in the Sudan by Moslems who savage the non-Moslems, wanting all of the country to be Moslem (all this is "officially denied" by Sudanese Authorities as "anti-Moslem propaganda")
(16) People who vilolate the Sabbath by working are no longer to be executed as demanded by Jesus/Yahweh/The Holy Spirit.
(contra Ex 31:15 "...whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall be put to death." cf. also Ex 35:2; Nu 15:35-36)
(17) Heretics are no longer tortured to confess their heresy and then burned alive to serve as a public warning and please God.
(contra De 13:12-18 and the Wars of the Reformation between Protestants and Catholics in the 16th century A.D. and
the accompanying Auto da Fe's and Inquisitions)
(18) Sons and daughters are no longer executed for striking their parents.
(contra Ex 21:15)
(19) Sons and daughters who curse their parents are no longer executed.
(contra Ex 21:17)
(20) Individuals having sex with beasts (bestiality) are no longer executed.
(contra Ex 22:19; Lev 20:15)
(21) Animals are no longer slain to provide God with his daily food allowance.
(contra Ex 29:38-42)
(22) The slaying of animals as burnt offerings to expatiate personal sins is abandoned.
(cf. Lev 4:32; 8:2; 16:15)
(23) People who consult Mediums or Wizards are no longer executed.
(contra Lev 20:27)
(24) Those who "blaspheme the name of the Lord" are no longer put to death.
(contra Lev 24:16)
Islam will not tolerate the blaspheming of Allah, Mohammed, or Islam, and will murder those who do so,
Moslem or Christian (as witness the 2004 murder of Theo Van Gogh in the Netherlands because of his TV film
Showing Islam's abuse of women) and Fatwahs issued in Iran by Moslem Clerics calling for the murder of
Salman Rushdie for his book titled "Satanic Verses" because it mocks Islam.
(25) No more talk from the pulpit about God (Jesus) causing sinners to "eat the flesh of their children" as punishment.
(contra Lev 26:29; De 28:53 )
(26) No more talk from the pulpit of barreness among women being a form of punishment from God (Jesus) for their sins.
(contra De 7:14)
(27) Sexual cross-dressing is no longer a crime.
(contra De 22:5)
(28) Men who have sex with their wife's mother (the mother and son-in-law) are no longer _burned to death with fire_.
(contra De 20:14)
As can be seen from all of the above, Christian Priests and Ministers have deliberately _suppressed_ the "dark side" of Jesus' personality in his role as the Old Testament's Logos or Word, which shows him to be in reality a ruthless God full of hatefulness and vengeance, devoid of any compassion for non-believers (he ordered the slaughter of _all_ the Canaanites).
Today Jesus is portrayed _primarily_ as a God of love, mercy, tenderness, forgiveness and long-suffering kindness whose only desire is to loved by mankind.
Christian priests and Ministers have _wisely_ fed their Congregations "Half Truths" about Jesus' personality as revealed in his role as the Logos or Word in the Old Testament who had his Holy Spirit inspire Moses to write down all the above frightening and hateful laws and punishments for his followers to obey and cram down the throats of their fellow man.
In today's world there is only _one religion_ that still honors God _as he wants to be honored_, as revealed in the Old Testaments' Laws and Ordinances and that religion is _not_ Judaism or Christianity for all of the above reasons, _it is_ Hardcore_Fundamentalist_Islam_ that correctly honors God_ . Hardcore Fundamentalist Islam or Jihadists (Osama bin Laden et al.) still seek to "PUT THE FEAR OF GOD" into mankind's hearts via acts of terror against fellow Moslems as well infidels:
"They DESPISED his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers..." (2 Ki 17:15)
"Ah, sinful nation...they have DESPISED the Holy One of Israel..." (Isa 1:4)
"And if I am a master, WHERE IS MY FEAR? says the Lord of hosts to you O priests, who DESPISE MY NAME." (Mal 1:6)
"I will give them one heart and one way, that they may FEAR ME for ever...I will put the FEAR OF ME in their hearts, that they may not turn from me." (Jeremiah 32:37-41)
"Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; THE FEAR OF ME IS NOT IN YOU, says the Lord God of hosts." (Jeremiah 2:19)
"DO YOU NOT FEAR ME?" Says the Lord; "DO YOU NOT TREMBLE BEFORE ME?" (Jeremiah 5:22)
"THEY DO NOT SAY IN THEIR HEARTS, "Let us FEAR THE LORD our God..." (Jer 5:24)
"Says the Lord, and shall I not AVENGE MYSELF on a nation such as this?" (Jer 5:29)
As I noted earlier, the information on this page will _not_ appear in the "News Media," be it TV, Radio, or Newspaper, or Official Government "News Releases." These groups _fear_ to offend their public, sponsors and supporters.
"News" is a business and a business does not want to lose customers and suffer a loss of revenue.
I would characterize the News Media more as an "Entertainment Media," dedicated to innocuous, titillating stories like the latest adventures of a Britney Spears or a Paris Hilton, et al., to pique their audiences' interests, but always wary of allowing any _real news_ to be presented that would offend their public or their political sponsors who have "deep pockets" (Yes, there do exist "Conservative" and "Liberal" TV News Shows and Newspapers who make it a point to denigrate their opponent's views, sometimes via deliberate misrepresentations, distortions, innuendoes, half-truths, suppression of data, and smears).
The so-called "News" is _never_ impartial_, it is always biased. An excellent book on the bias that exists in the "un-biased" News Media is Bernard Goldberg. This "brave" reporter and news-analyst was made _a pariah_ for airing publicly "private dirty linen," revealing the "liberal bias" that exists in his News Organization.
I have often thought of writing an article and titling it "Welcome to Life, The Great Con." We are, _all of us_, conned by parents, friends, associates, wives, children, education, business, religion, government and the armed forces. None disclose the "whole truth," _all_ suppress to some degree the truth, giving us "half-truths" in order to take power over us and control our actions, decisions and behaviors. The conner is the controller of others. The problem is that sometimes the conner comes to believe in his/her own cons!
As a Secular Humanist I understand _all religions_ are cons and the faithful are the conned and thereby the controlled. _All_ governments_and_religions_ are "up to their eye balls" in conning, lies, denials, character assassinations of conscientious law-abiding whistle-blowers and cover-ups in order to thereby control their people.
Where are the Hebrews getting the notion from that their God demands they conquer slay peoples who do not acknowledge him as their Lord (Isaiah 66:15-24)? Its an Ancient Near Eastern concept apparently. The Neo-Assyrian kings often portrayed their conquests as being at the will and direction of their supreme god Asshur who has ordered them as his proxy warriors to decimate nations and peoples who dwell nearby who do not honor him, causing him to be offended and wanting revenge.
The Neo-Assyrian King Tiglath-Pileser (reigned circa 747-727 BC), boasting of his conquering peoples and nations who "hate" his god Asshur and how he forced them to acknowledge Asshur as a god more powerful than their own and made them worship Asshur's image:
"Palace of Tiglath-Pileser, the great king, the powerful king of nations, king of Assyria, king of Babylon, king of Sumer and Akkad, king of the Four Regions. The powerful warrior, who in service of his Assur his lord, the whole of his haters has trampled like clay, swept like a flood and reduced to shadows...in the countries which had become tributary he appointed the worship of Assur...In this expedition he must have approached Jerusalem; for he wrote "Yauhazi (Ahaz) of Judah" among the kings who paid him tribute."

So, Islam today is only doing their God's will as his proxy warriors (like the kings of Assyria did for Asshur), they will conquer the world for Allah and spread Islam and force via Islamic Jihad-Terror "all" to bend the knee to their enraged god, who has not been shown proper respect and defference by the non-Moslem world.
