Cherubim throne of the Phoenician goddess Astarte, with a Sacred Tree, in Lotus Blossom form from Egypt, below the seat, flanked by the two Cherubim/Sphinxes. Two stelae are engraved above the shallow seat, whose angle shows that an image of a goddess to sit upon this throne was not intended, the seat accommodates only the Stelae. From Khirbet et-Tayibeh, Tyre, 2nd century BCE.
